This month’s marks a significant milestone in our journey as Friends of Sparsh. On this month in 2019 amidst the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in the US, we embarked on a mission to provide comfort to those in need. What started as a simple act of kindness has blossomed into a powerful movement, thanks to the dedication and compassion of 700 incredible families like you.
For the past nearly five years, our organization has been a beacon of hope for about 35 to 40 individuals homeless each day, as they receive homemade meals lovingly prepared by our volunteers. Despite the challenges and uncertainties that have come our way, your unwavering commitment to our cause has remained steadfast.
Today, as we reflect on our journey, we are filled with profound gratitude for each and every one of you. Your selflessness and generosity have not only nourished bodies but also warmed hearts and uplifted spirits. You are the heartbeat of Friends of Sparsh, the driving force behind our mission to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
While we may not be the most tech-savvy or have a large social media presence, our impact is undeniable, thanks to the collective power of 700 hearts beating as one. Together, we have shown that even the smallest act of kindness can ignite a ripple effect of love and compassion.
